Albany High senior Nikolai
Mishler is an accomplished scholar, taking and excelling in the most
challenging Advanced Placement classes offered at Albany High.
He also is a fine actor, singer and dancer
who, as a sixth-grader, played the title role in
Oliver! for
the high school’s award-winning Theatre Ensemble. As a high-school
student he held leading roles in the ensemble’s performances of
Chicago, Into the Woods
and Cabaret.
An exceptional musician, he
plays a variety of musical instruments and sings; he wrote an original
musical based on The Kite
Runner for the 2011 Promising Playwrights Festival.
He has terrific leadership skills and is able
to make groups work together. He is an exceptional person
in every way.
