Students can take a full IB curriculum leading to an IB diploma in addition to a high-school diploma, or select individual IB courses. IB diplomas are highly regarded by top colleges and universities.

Each academy provides the same core courses in math, English, science and social studies, as well as art, health and Spanish 1. Physical education, band, orchestra and chorus include students from all four academies. Each academy also provides honors, special-education classes and
English-as-a-second-language services.

All other elective courses are grouped according to each academy’s unique theme.
Students can take electives in different academies and the electives are equally available to all.

Summer opportunities for freshmen in Leadership Academy

Leadership Academy will offer a one-week, full-day summer enrichment camp for incoming freshmen interested in developing their leadership and advocacy skills.

What's so special about Leadership Academy?

Leadership Academy houses a large-group instruction room modeled after the General Assembly Room in the United Nations. Students use the room for simulated international debates, multimedia presentations, guest presentations and research.
